It is nice and sunny here in the Costa del Hull too! Playing cricket this afternoon, very nice of the rain to go away and actually let us get a game in this 'summer' for once!

I got in from a night out steaming (Rum and Coke was a really bad decision) just in time for the fight. I had a feeling that the only way Garcia could win was by KO so I took a bit of 9/1 on WillHill. I actually think Khan is a big talent, but he just doesn't see the left hook coming, wide open to it he was, from Round 1. You can't be an ATG with a chin like that. He needs to step up to welterweight, let himself carry a bit more natural weight. He's a quick lad and he will beat some good fighters on points. But the really good fighters will expose him I'm afraid. He fought in straight lines alst night, way too rigid and left himself open to those big hooks. Was like watching him 4 or 5 years ago again. Long way back for him now.

He is a class act Toppy but he can't take a punch and any fighter will just be looking to hit him by swinging wildly and it is goodnight.

Boris LAY of the century - enjoy - thats why they call your Boris Fenster.

Imperial Monarch did well yesterday Boris. Undoubtedly Main Sequence was unlucky, and he surprised me as I didn't rate his form.

But seriously, with a proper pace and a truly run Group 1 Imperial Monarch will deliver a special performance IMO. He stacked up the French horses yesterday and didn't really daw the sting out of them, and he managed to repel them. not many horses hold off the fast finishing French types on their home turf so he did exceptionally to win from the front yesterday.

    Great run from Otto Quercus.

Unlucky to run into that winner, the pair dominant.

    whats that Sendmylovetorose?

IM was a lay at the price, most of the time he is losing that race, Main Sequence would have won 90 times out of a 100 so it was the right lay, backers got lucky.

Id lay it again tonight in the same race.

Was at the Haye fight last night. It was actually quite even I thought in that Haye was always going to be quicker but Chisora could throw the big knockout punch. Haye wasnt really troubling Chisora at all until the first knockout punch, then after that Chisora lost it and threw the fight away by swinging widly.

Was a good experience anyway..... was quite funny watching the people in the expensive (£1k each!!) seats around the ring get absolutely drentched....

you lay an even money shot that loses and a 2/1 shot that wins you are losing.

You got lucky with Golden Lilac aswell, clearly didnt run her race.

    16:20 Stratford - Gigondas

(Dam, Queen's Dancer, was a fair sort of performer as 3- and 4-y-o. Winner of 16f hurdle race on good-to-soft at Towcester in early 2006 before going to the paddocks. Hopefully selection is forward enough to give good account on debut).
