Quel,Kenny probobly should have saved the first one despite the fact the shooter was only 6 yards out.

After that he made a string of quality saves and had little chance with the other two goals....Kept QPR in it for most of the game.

You know what's really annoying about City?
I'll tell you.

It's Vincent Kompany. He's a great player and leader and thoroughly nice bloke just to rub it in.

You do because QPR were in the 3 worst teams on genuine results - bbc sport understands Liverpool in trouble over allegations of match fixing in their away game against QPR <whistle> <run> <laugh>

Assuming my son doesn't come on this forum. Man U only have themselves to blame, letting a 4-2 lead slip in the final 7 mins against Everton - disgraceful. On top of that, they didn't get a single point against Man C. So no-one could say Man C didn't deserve it. Being a Man C fan in those final minutes must have been one of the best moments in their lives. I dread to think how Man U fans felt after probably believing there was no way Man C could score twice and snatch the title.

The ups and downs of football in extreme.

The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me

Wait till you guys see MOTD tonight, you won't even believe how the Baggies goalkeeper Martin Fulop has gifted Arsenal not one, not two, but in fact ALL THREE goals today. I'm as unbiased as they come as I try not to be a football invred but I was at the Hawthorns today and we should have beaten Arsenal. They didnt do **** all.

CANNOT WAIT to see the look on the Man Utd faces on MOTD tonight!

Whatever you do Ron please dont give Everton any credit from coming from 2 goals down twice in a game...it would go against the obvious grain.

I backed Man United at 5/2 when they were eight points behind Man Sheikhy and I agree they blew it against Everton; however, in the final analysis they were swept by Sheikhy and the title goal difference can all be accounted for in the 6-1 home defeat - that's plus five for the blues and minus five for the reds.

I had already written off my bet but I have some sympathy with a lifelong United fan who is a friend of mine: I knocked him out of a poker game on Saturday night with the only decent hand I had all night and he lost a personnel start-of-the-season bet with a Sheikhy fan today.

It was 'Guineas' day in France as they ran both of their equivalents on the same card.

First up was the fillies' race, the Prix de la Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, with an unbeaten odds-on favourite. The pacemaker, Regatta, was headed off early by Mick Shannon's Samitar, but the jockey spent most of the race looking back to see what was going on. Presumably the plan with Samitar had been to try an take advantage of her number one draw but once Regatta passed her she quickly faded. Fire Lily was well placed in the early part of the race but found nothing as the tempo quickened.

Once the pacemaker folded with over a furlong to go, Christophe Soumillon went to the front on favourite Beauty Parlour and won comfortably enough from Joseph O'Brien on Up and Topeka who ran on well for third. Andre Fabre's Petite Noblesse - a half-sister to dual Classic winner Lope De Vega - never featured.

Conventional wisdom is that a low draw is needed in the Pouliches, so Up did really well from her fourteen draw and Topeka made a good showing from eleven. The winner's seven draw was no hindrance as she was clearly the class of the race. I expect that the Prix de Diane (French Oaks) will be next on her agenda.

The colts' Classic, the Prix de la Poule d'Essai des Poulains, is virtually a favourite's graveyard but last year's top two-year-old Dabirsim topped the market despite surrendering his unbeaten tag in the Prix de Fontainbleu on his seasonal bow.

Pacemaker Veneto broke from stall two and led Aidan O'Brien's Vault in the early stages, with the favourite failing to settle in the pack a couple of lengths back - just as he had done in the Fontainbleu.

For most of the race the field seemed to be ignoring Veneto and once they got into the straight, it looked like the pacemaker might hold on as challengers failed to materialise; however he got collared on the line in a finish where a blanket would have covered the first nine home - including Dabirsim.

The race was won by Lucayan, trained by Francois Rohaut, who has won the Pouliches a couple of times before. Last time out he had won an ordinary listed race, which suggests that this may not have been the best renewal of the race. The winner came from the five box and the runner-up had stall two. Joseph O'Brien's mount, Furner's Green, drawn eleven, ran on well to be under the finish blanket, but worrying for form pundits, English 2000 Guineas fifth Coupe De Ville (just over three-and-a-half lengths behind Camelot) never featured.

Aside from the goings on in Paris, there were a couple of trials races at Leopardstown. This saw a kick-in-the-teeth for the 1000 Guineas form as Jim Bolger's Alla Speranza, eleven-and-a-half lengths sixth at Newmarket, was beaten out of sight in the Derrinstown Stud 1000 Guineas Trial.

Wrote's failure in the Derby Trial probably reduced the ante-post Derby betting by one. Will the winner, Light Heavy, be crossing the Irish Sea?

Try not to be a football inbred but at the same time cannot wait to see the looks on the United faces. I do laugh at attitudes towards United of people who support clubs who have absolutely no history with us.

RP - Well done with Homecoming Queen Aidan she looked very good
AOB - Listen Rishi she is a good filly and she has been clocking exceptional times in her work. She won nicely the last day in Leopardstown and has improved.
RP Doesn't it come as a bit of a surprise that she has got the better of your previously unbeaten filly Maybe
AOB - Listen Rishi we have always thought a lot of her and I blame myself for her schedule last season. Listen Maybe will come on for that and we are delighted with her run
RP Is it true the horse you had in training called listen was this the Magniers/Tabors way of taking the piss out of you
AOB Listen Rishi we all had a sit down with the lads and decided to name one listen it’s just a coincidence there is nothing to it
RP - There are rumours Starspangledbanner will return to training what’s the latest on this situation
AOB - Listen Rishi there have been a few problems at stud and Jospeh suggested we bring him back he will need to be equipped with a parachute when we step up his work.
RP - Finally Aidan where would you rank Camelot with the top horses you have had in the past
AOB - Listen Rishi he is right up with the best we have had - when you get a relaxed horse like he is with so many gears and natural speed listen he's a bit special.

Thanks Stoke City for keeping the R's in the Premier League. Nice present on my birthday which, after a fantastic day with my family, was nearly ruined by one Joey Barton. Congrats to Man.City! <ok>

The first ten in the French Guineas were covered by by 2.5L...nuff said.

In fact one could argue that the Hannon horse, who was beaten just 2L actually franked the Newmarket form, although I agree the value todays race looks extremely questionable.

Alla Speranza didn't do much for for the 1000 form but she turned out quick enough after travelling last week.We all know Bolger loves to race his top fillies almost every week,Banimpire ran about a dozen times last year. It's entirely possible that this one might not appreciate such handling.I'm still not sure what to make of the 1000 form tbh and will wait a little more to see how it developes.

Light Heavy looks useful but slow in the context of a Derby winner and AO'B,or anyone else, won't be losing any sleep over the fact he scraped home from a pacemaker.

I'm not sure he's even entered for Epsom and is more likely to run at The Curragh rather than be supplemented. He has a better chance of getting his ground there and the track will suit more.

More bubbles burst than being inflated at the moment.

Listen Dex - The way Camelot won in Newmarket we were thrilled - and Homecomingqueens form was boosted by both fillies owned by the lads Up and fire Lilly. Listen you are silly to question it.
