Yeah..City clinch the league in Fergie time!

United choked when they were 8 points clear...the media hacks will have to change their portfolio of manu and fergie cliches about seeing it out and experience will count.

Mancini got under fergie's skin so easily it was comical, especially at the Etihad when the sourly Scot went into meltdown on the touchdown...

What a performance from my boys today. Got within seconds of breaking City's hearts and no thanks to the moron Joey Barton. I hope they burn his contract, let the club down badly today.

When you look at that clip RV, tell me how the linesman can possibly see what went on, he is looking through 5 or 6 players....pity we didnt have him at Bolton for Clint Hills goal/non goal.

Not sure Stick but I have seen a closeup via a link on twitter (now taken down) and he clearly elbowed Tevez as well.

Stick over the moon mate. Hope we can strengthen up and not sell our best players but will have to wait and see. Stupid thing to say but sort of glad we didn't win today as it would have been more gutting to miss out on CL football <laugh>. To finish above Chelsea and the scousers is amazing and I am looking forward to European football next season.

Congrats to my team Everton for winning the league.Granted there were only 2 teams in the league(Liverpool). And Yet again having to rely on free transfers and loan deals, and we still finish 7th.

    Well done boys!

    Well i'm effing devastated.

City deserve to win the league. They beat us home and away and have played some good stuff this season. Still, It shows how much of a force of nature Sir Alex is to drive this squad (our worst since the 2004 debacle) that's had a number of injuries to key players to within a minute of winning the title. How do you pick up players and dust them off after that? Can quite easily see a few of them broken mentally after today.

To top it off I wanted to back the Lavelle winner Tim The Chair at Uttoxeter but didn't have time/concentration to look through the cards and find what race he was in after a quick glance last night.

Now I know how the Munich fans felt like in 1999 and it's not a nice experience.

and of course, Paddy Kenny is a joke.

It's from a nice family Quel. Bizarrely it's been SOLD no less than five times and always for decent money. Honeyball had it for few months but I believe sold it for a profit but I have no idea why they let it go.

I'll wait for the market to form then. If I get 10/1 I'll be having a bet I think.

Anyone think Van Persie would be crazy to stay at Arsenal?

He's 29. Won't even compete for the league let alone win it. Won't compete for a Champions League spot and will most likely earn 25% less at Arsenal than at any one of a number of clubs who would love to have him. For my money if he resigns with Arsenal he's doing a Le Tissier and wasting what should be a successful final 5 years of a stop start and generally underachieving career.
