2.40 Longchamp - UP 11/1 (BOG) & PETITE NOBLESSE 6/1 (BOG) Going for two horses against the field here in the French 1000 guineas. Beauty Parlour has looked good but is a ridiculous price at 8/11. Starting with UP she is a filly I really like and I see her getting better with more racing. Although only finishing 11th on debut I have followed her since as she travelled like the best filly in the race that day and thats probably turned out to be the truth. She went on to win her maiden at the second time of asking and followed that up with a fine 4th in the BC Fillies Juvenile on her third career start where she was slightly unlucky not to be closer. Her first start as a 3yo was at Dundalk and she was turned over as a 1-2 fav. However she was well looked after by Joseph O'Brien and shaped as in need of the run when her stable weren't exactly firing. UP'S latest start was in the 1000 guineas trial at Leopardstown where she finished 3rd behind subsequent emphatic 1000 guineas winner Homecoming Queen. I felt UP ran very green that day again suggesting she still has plenty to learn and also lots of improvement to come. She was only beaten a length and has 3/4 of a length to make up on joint fav Fire Lilly today I feel she is capable of doing so. Petite Noblesse is another Coolmore owned filly this time trained by Andre Fabre. He certainly doesn't waste time putting them in at the top level if he doesn't feel they are capable of competing against the best. I don't know a lot about this one but I watched her victory last time in a conditions race in really bad conditions and she looked like a top notch prospect at 6/1 I will take a chance on her making it 3 wins from 4 starts.
Morning all, One for me today: 4:30 Uttoxeter - Tusker Rock. I took 4/1 last night but non runner this morning sees it now at 9/4. Trip and ground fine and trainer in form. Good luck all with your bets.
Had a little e/w on Samitar in the 2.40 at Longchamp, but Beauty Parlour has looked exceptional in her 3 runs to date, while Christophe Soumillon is worth a 7lbs advantage at this course. Will watch her price nearer the off on Betfair and may jump on if she touches 2 (evs).
Archers Road - really looked worth 7lbs advantage here didn't he http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmeazzA6uq8
Thought I would add my two-penneth worth on the French Guineas day. I completely agree with RV on UP. I think the horse shaped with so much promise last time and greeness cost her. I actually saw that run and immediately I wanted a Betfair price for her on the Oaks. That wont be happening though as I closed the account, but I will be watching with interest to see if they let her take a chance. On first impression I thought Dabirsim was outbattled on reappearance but crikey, having seen it again Soumillon lost 2 lengths when posing and that was one of the most impressive bits of headway I have seen from any French horse in the last two years. He will be dropped in midfield today and I suspect they will wait to push the turbo button until late on. So in short: 1000 G- UP E/W (and before the race but some of your loose change on her for the Epsom Oaks) 2000G DABIRSIM (NAP)
I'm also an Up fan lads. Thought LTO was a typical O'Brien prep and the form has obviously worked out well.
Like the look of her chances too Archers, looks a decent e/w prospect at 20/1 What about this for balls of steel? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wa_KrNNebzU&feature=related
Most amazing thing I think I've ever seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmlAW_1hgT8 Watch the bit from 3.00 to 4.00 - how can anything seem normal after doing that?
Afternoon guys I fancy 3 at plumpton today and they are as follows: Battle cry 2.10 *Teenage kicks 4.10 Peplum 4.40 *6/4, 5/1 and 2/1 respectively win patent good luck if you play Away from the racing.....good luck to stick today his beloved hoops could cause him to chew his fingernails off totally today lol

Odddy awesome vids mate . My fav video on Youtube atm is this Newcastle United one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV0VETLKloU obviously because I am a toon fan but love the way its been put together and the cross from the legend Gary Speed (R.I.P.) at the start for his good old pal Shearer
1.30 Longchamp - ATHENS 11/2- Weak looking Group 3 race and I wouldn't be surprised if Athens turns out to be good enough here. O'Brien on fire atm and this one had a nice confidence boosting win last time out. Is a nice horse without being superstar material but is a big price at 11/2 here imo
Actually not going to bother backing UP. The draw has not been kind. I'd rather just let her run and if I miss out on a winner then so be it.
Well Athens was ****e and a 16-1 winner of the Group 3. Lets see if an ex O'Brien horse AMEN can do me a favour over hurdles 16/1 Quel anything else then today ?
Nothing horsey wise. Big football day so that's taken all i'm interested in. It's a huge long shot that QPR will do us a favour so i've just decided to watch United for what it is which is the last game off football until August. We've had a poor year so can't wait to see the back of it tbh.
Quel Right bets for today before I go to watch the footy £1 Lucky 15 Vrai Vert 2.50 Worcester Easter Day 4.50 Worcester Turn Over Sivola 2.10 Plump Alla Speranza 3.15 Leop
£1 lucky 15 UP 2.40 Longchamp Dabirsim 3.10 Longchamp Zantenda 4.15 Longchamp Wrote 3.45 Leopardstown also singles on UP and Petite Noblesse good luck all
Afternoon all, one horse of interest to me today and that is Tim Vaughan's Dingat in the 3.50 at Worcester. I have a note in my little book that this was tipped up as horse worth following by the trainer. It then had a 500 day absence before returning at the end of March to finish a close 3rd where a mistake at the last cost it any chance. Best price 7/1 and must be capable of taking a 2k class 4 if it is to live up to the trainer's assessment of it's ability. Good luck all
