    Since Federer said he played well today (stats back that) ,and Murray said he played well in the semi,I think thats a fair assessment..hour and a half maybe?

    Nole was unplayable today..the length on his ground strokes is so precise.

    I really do Stick would have loved him to win it but I'm just a realist. He hasn't got the natural ability of the world class players and has to work that bit harder than the others.

    I'd say Novak would a beat him easily today yep but on any given day and all that.... And how did Murray batter the very same Novak in straight sets in the final 2 years ago??!

    Maybe Dex, but I'm not sure Novaks THAT much better than he was then. I stupidly thought the French Open would have eroded Novak's vast reservoir of mental strength in the tight moments but the prediction was well off today wasn't it <doh>

    Well done Novak backers I know Bob and Cityhull (who got the dbl up) both cashed in after Novak's impressive display today.
