Done a heinz on Hughes remaining 6 rides and Moonlight Cloud in the big one in France <ok>

Not really, Bolger said he would only run here if he was happy with him after Goodwood and he is one of those horses who takes plenty of racing. In the old days good horses used to run two big races on the same day and things like that, even over long distances in jumps races, all depends on the horse I suppose. I fully expect him to run to his usual high level, will it be the performance of his life, probably not, but the others will need to produce something special to beat him and there is no way im letting 5/2 about Dawn Approach go unbacked.
 
True Boris and for all my concerns lest not forgot only last week a truly remarkable feat was achieved by a mare called Busted Tycoon who won 3 races at the Galway Festival all in the space of 6 days! Now that's tough <yikes>

Loads of quality races today. I'm just going to mess around with some short priced ones and put them in trebles and above.

Yip, thats a good recent example, it happens quite often in the lower level races and nothing is made of it. He has only had 4 runs this season, the same as Intello, and the Derby would have had more effect mentally than physically. He had a decent break between Ascot and Goodwood with 11 days to recover for this, he should be absolutely fine. If he is beaten there will be no excuses, Moonlight Cloud only ran 7 days ago and no one has mentioned that, if Freddie Head and Jim Bolger are happy to run top horses that quickly we shouldnt be worried.
 
The fact that Moonlight Cloud has only had a week between races is not so much of a concern as I felt that she won quite readily in the Prix Maurice de Gheest; whereas Dawn Approach had quite a hard race in the Sussex Stakes. I am wondering how much Jim Bolger's decision to run again after just eleven days was influenced by the other owner. Moonlight Cloud beat Farhh in last year's Prix Du Moulin so the mile is not a problem but I wonder if she might prefer easier ground (as it was that day).
 
Richard Hannon trained horse won the opener at Leicester but not the one I backed! Day Of Conquest won (second string), grabbed the stands rail. 1-2 for Hannon, 25/1 and 5/1!

I am going for this selection to overturn the hot favourite, Adam Kirby with this one ride at the track and other runners he could presumably have ridden for Clive Cox at Windsor.

Not betting but love the look pf Intello in the big race in France. In a year of very good 3year old milers he is the best I have seen.
 
Get in there Moonlight Cloud!! Thought she had got done on the line. She probably got to the front too soon but she only did because she was travelling all over them!
 
Class told in the end with Moonlight Cloud although she didn't half give her backers a fright! Her optimum trip is 7 furlongs IMO. Olympic Glory ran the race of his life and should pick up a Group 1 this season, well done to whoever backed him each-way. Intello ran well in third but needs further. I was right to oppose Dawn Approach! Should've been given more time to rest after the Sussex Stakes.

Agreed on all counts.Thought Intello ran a good race considering he clearly needs further. Wasnt surprised by DA,good horse but ran to his limits.

Intello is entered in the Arc, got to be worth a small bet! Has won over 11 furlongs so should stay the trip in the Arc.

The two horses to take out of the race are Olympic Glory and Intello - we know all about Moonlight Cloud and what a classy filly she is, but a mile stretches her stamina so 7 furlongs is the best trip for her although there's not many Group 1 races over that distance.

It is going all right so far, OddDog, with Hughes on the next favourite and two for his father-in-law it could be a decent pay day.

The Prix Du Jockey Club is about ten and a half furlongs; and the question mark about Intello in the Arc is the distance - his pedigree does not strongly suggest he will stay. He was 9/1 with BetVictor this morning for 6 October. It might be worth waiting for a decision before punting. They may opt for the Champion Stakes, for which he also holds an entry.
