My colours have been nailed to the Un Atout mast for a long time now, but of the English horses, I am completely undecided. I like MR too, but also like Puffin Billy, and am aware of how keen on Dodging Bullets PN is (albeit trying to play it down, like he does)
I'm surprised at Champagne Fever being sent to the Supreme, he looks a stamina horse to me. They must be trying to avoid Rule The World again
Bob: You are correct of course - I could have backed Dynaste for both (not with Hills) but it got overlooked.
Reebs - I'm tending to discount anything Ruby has turned down - as he has chosen Champagne Fever over Dodging Bullets, my enthusiasm for the Nicholls horse is severely tempered. I'm thinking it is going to be perfect for Melodic Rendezvous tbh
Christ this is just the first race and I've about 8 horses I could fancy![]()

Melodic Rendevous is interesting, he's done nothing wrong. I like the argument that if we were with Nicholls or Hendo he'd be half the price but at the back of my mind is this nagging doubt that if he were with them he might not be in the race. Tough one to assess. I think Ruby has committed to Champagne Fever due to the ground but I feel Dodging Bullets could still run a big race. As I put in my preview, CF acts at the festival and crucially we know he'll stay a truly run race (and this will be). He could be the one.
Not letting me in to full screen so **** that preview.
