I believe, lads, that there is a live stream for tonights official cheltenham preview. will try to find out more.

My colours have been nailed to the Un Atout mast for a long time now, but of the English horses, I am completely undecided. I like MR too, but also like Puffin Billy, and am aware of how keen on Dodging Bullets PN is (albeit trying to play it down, like he does)

I'm surprised at Champagne Fever being sent to the Supreme, he looks a stamina horse to me. They must be trying to avoid Rule The World again :)

Bob: You are correct of course - I could have backed Dynaste for both (not with Hills) but it got overlooked.

Edit: Plus Cheltenian of course <laugh>

Reebs - I'm tending to discount anything Ruby has turned down - as he has chosen Champagne Fever over Dodging Bullets, my enthusiasm for the Nicholls horse is severely tempered. I'm thinking it is going to be perfect for Melodic Rendezvous tbh <ok>

Christ this is just the first race and I've about 8 horses I could fancy <laugh>

With the soft ground the supreme will be like 2 miles 5 furlong race so not massively surprised to be honest plus they want to avoid pont alexandra.

Melodic Rendevous is interesting, he's done nothing wrong. I like the argument that if we were with Nicholls or Hendo he'd be half the price but at the back of my mind is this nagging doubt that if he were with them he might not be in the race. Tough one to assess. I think Ruby has committed to Champagne Fever due to the ground but I feel Dodging Bullets could still run a big race. As I put in my preview, CF acts at the festival and crucially we know he'll stay a truly run race (and this will be). He could be the one.

Careul Oddy, or you'll end up with a portfolio like mine <laugh>

I'd like to pass on some praise for Victor - he has refunded all the NRNB today as soon as the horses were withdrawn <ok>

I had Ballynagour in 2 races and he's out of both ........ but still IN another couple :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Not in hiding fellas. Nipped over to France yesterday evening and played golf in chilly Kent today.

Midnight Minx, wat a letdown. I say it again.....get a proper jockey!
Cant win em all.

Hope you all enjoy the week ahead.

How can the 'official Cheltenham preview evening' hold any credibility after they got bloody Rishi Persad on the panel! Absolutely clueless!

Hear that argument alot about 'if he was with nichols/henderson he would be shorter.' The fact is they are better trainers, which is why there horses are shorter.

Evening Odddy

yeah I think Sam Winner is well handicapped + This lot

My Tent Or Yours
Rock On Ruby
Back In Focus
Pont Alexandre
Mail Du Bievre (W/O Sprinter Sacre)
Saphir du Rheu (NAP)

yours ? - can't wait now like

Melodic Rendezvous has no chance of winning at the festival. What has he done :S

Got beat by Mr Mole <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

Beat Pendra <laugh> <laugh> running in a handicap at the festival - Royal Boy <laugh> about the only Henderson horse in training without a Chelts entry

Beat Puffin Billy <laugh> <laugh> was untested , overhyped plus injured during the race

he can't win 8/1 <laugh> I wouldn't back him at 150-1

Hurricane Fly - think the ground has come right for him and he looks in much better nick this year
I have Simonsig & Sprinter Sacre in a nice ante post double at 9/4 and am very hopeful of landing that
I like a couple of Jonjo's - Taquin de Seuil in the Neptune and Cloudy Copper in the Albert Bartlett
Arabella Boy in the x-country
First Leiutenant if he goes for the Ryanair
Reve De Sivola in the World Hurdle assuming he lines up (heard he may have had a niggling problem)

Won't look at the handicaps until final decs <ok>

You'll need soft ground horses, defo on the first 2 days <ok>

Nice one Odddy <ok>

some good bets there mate. Defs think your SS & Simonsig double is a cert.

I strongly fancy SAPHIR DU RHEU to win. Have a decent bet NRNB

happy enough with the ground for most of my fancies above <ok>
