RV; As you are quoting literal formlines, MTOY beat Population in his Novice Hurdle who was then stuffed by Le Reve!
Cotton Mill was also having his pipe opener in the Betfair.

Not crabbing MTOY as I have been championing him for weeks against the general trend on here but it really would be foolish to underestimate Melodic Rendezvous. I think he is very very talented. Will be a hell of a chaser!

****ing hell it's going to be an expensive Cheltenham for Stickles.

The New One can set off now and still lose to Pont Alexandre.

BB are we going to see the same happen just like your namesake last year? So much hype but skelped by Brindisi who had a belting future if it wasnt for such acts of cruelness - RIP <rose>

Mr Ward - no idea. What i do know is that he's a terrible price for the RSA now. I'm on for small amounts in the RSA and 4 miler at bigger prices and i've got absolutely no intention of topping up.

I was more referring to Pont Alexandre - the "Irish Banker", wasnt that Bostonbobs title last year? Im on TNO currently but will be having a saver on Taquin du Seuil on the day as i expect them to drift with so much support for PA

Just been rewatching some of the Irish novice form - by christ some of it is shocking. I was interested in Rule The World's last run but Champagne Fever slowed to a canter after 2 out. All very muddling. Jezki seems to have been all out to win his races. In fact, if you think Champagne Fever ain't good enough you can pretty much put a line through the Irish challenge in the Supreme. I'm back to Melodic Rendezvous I'm afraid. Will Dodging Bullets go in the ground? OK he was 3rd to Darlan in the CHristmas Hurdle but that race was more muddling than an episode of Oprah

I've thought about this a lot since Christmas but I keep coming back to the fact that a good horse can only beat what's put in front of him. Running in muddling races doesn't make the Irish challenge below par it just means that the style of racing over there is different to ours.
