French jump racing isnt something I pay a lot of attention to UNTIL I heard James Reveley had picked up more prize money heading to France that Richard Johnson (champ elect). £1.7million was the figure quoted
Shannak obviously well handicapped on that evidence, given the run prior to that too I'd imagine she could put up a few more wins before feeling the handicappers pinch.
Might as well try and join the fun, hopefilly! Age of Innocence will prefer this trip today and acts on the surface here so I've taken a bit of the 10/3 that was available with Betfair.
Yep will be interesting to see how the old handicapper reacts to that win, will defo be keeping her onside.
Irish Thistle has been a major eyecatcher for me on more than one occasion on Sunday racing and I cannot turn down an opportunity at 16/1. He has been coming home well in his races and I wonder if he might just be given a more prominent sit today off bottom weight. A nice reference point to cling onto was that he was beaten 2L by MOZOLTOV (a horse that spooks at Cheltenham fences for some reason it seems!) when receiving 6lb, but today he receives a full 23lb with the jockey claim included. To me I'm wondering if this has been the target, but it is a competitive race.
I'm with Baily Green in the big one. Hasn't won since racking up a 7 timer over 3 year ago (edit: won 1 since) now but loves Heavy ground and given a break could well go close of this type of mark. 16/1 each way poke. Mouse Morris doing ok with the few he's sent out.
Just noticed they've been backing DeBromhead's one in the beginners at 2.50 like defeat is out of the question. Won his latest hurdles start by 21 lengths. Shrewd yard and usually very well schooled for the big ones.
