I reckon he's Madrid bound mate. I think he's a brilliant manager but he'd likely want a hefty transfer kitty and full control of transfers so him and Levy would never work. I'd be happy to see us take a punt on Potter, I think he's a really good manager in the making and with bigger and better resources he could do something quite good, he's kind of in the Poch mould and we do need that sort of manager now as we need to rebuild as this squad is dead barring a small handful. Alternatively I'd also take ten Hag, though knowing our luck if he came he'd end up being another de Boer.
Potter eh. Didn't expect that. How about nuno who left wolves? he had them playing some great ball at times and I reckon he could do well in the future at the right club. Funny I've not heard his name mentioned now I think about it
It'd be a punt and a risk but I'm a fan of his work. Said on our board a few times that what he done at Ostersunds probably doesn't get enough praise. 4th division team and in 7 years got them to the Prem and won a domestic cup, qualifying for Europa in the process, even beat the goons in one leg of their Europa ties as well but lost on agg. Even though Brighton are pretty ****, they play some great football and if they had a decent striker or two they'd be much higher with the chances they create, makes me wonder what he'd do with better players and resources. Nah big no for Nuno from me. I don't think Wolves play good football at all to be honest, it's just a style that's somewhat effective. I'd take a couple of their players though that's for sure, lol.
Would appear Ryan Bertrand has accepted our contract offer ahead of other clubs including the Goons ... not a bad signing on a free and will give us that bit more experience across the back line ...
He's OK ... and at the moment our only fit left back is a 19 year old kid ... albeit one with a lot of potential ... hopefully he keeps Redmond on the bench ...
Ricardo Pereira came back from ACL this season ... he's certainly not back as he was but hopefully will get there ... James Justin has youth on his side but it is still a tough journey back ... I know ...did mine at 19 ... took me two seasons to get properly back ... some don't
Yeah, but that world class setup at Leicester should ensure these young men come back better and stronger. I would say that they have a better chance recovinging fully due to that.
