That's how the takeover of your club was put forward to the world especially by the fans.
It was put that way by the media, and the other "big" clubs. Some dumb fans jumped on it, but it was obvious to anybody remotely switched on that it could never be the case as the rules in place for a time (and those introduced immediately after the takeover) wouldn't allow it - which is precisely why it was so stupid for Klopp to say it. Still said it though, the big dumb ****.

Klopp has played a part in your success (and still spent way more than we could while doing it), but the support base and the revenue streams that generates were built from long, long ago... You know, when you were successful and spent more money than anybody else.

Organic growth. Just ask Sucky.

What about Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller, Miroslav Klose, Manuel Neuer, Michael Ballack, Oliver Kahn, Phillip Lahm, Bastion Schweinsteiger?

Looks stupid, clearly has stupid opinions

explains the move tbh
I could even go on.......
Jurgen Klinsmann, Lothar Mattaus, Toni Kroos, Julien Draxler, and probably 100 others who I have not heard of or were before my time, who would be above Havertz in the pecking order.
Mad, mad take.
Its the equivalent of someone saying "Who's your favourite England player of all time?" and your answer is "Daniel Sturridge" or "Emile Heskey"

setting the bar low there
I suppose what I was trying to say was that for the total possible fee of £69m we paid for Voldemort (Solanke region - £65m inc bonuses), he can have as bad an opinion of great German players as he likes, as I think he'll likely turn out to be a better investment than Big Dom.

Not sure why it boils your piss so much <laugh>

barely commented on yesterdays news.

... that 'constant success' left you with Net Debt of £307 million by the end of the 23-24 season ... suspect you being able to spend as you have has much more to do with increased lines of credit ...:)

Maybe Leicester can show them how to go into administration and pay pennies on the pound to local companies owed lots of money.

The people who ran the club back then are long gone... the current owners have literally pumped millions into good causes in Leicester and Leicestershire... but carry-on with your crusade Sir Lancealittle ... <laugh>
