Jackson is one of those 'more an athlete than a footballer' types ... he'll cause your defence all sorts of problems with his pace and power but he isn't a natural finisher ... but that can improve with good coaching ...

At this stage I'd be tempted to take both and even play them as a pair even ... long season - lot of games for NUFC ...

Yes ... players always, without fail, get sold for their worth - nobody ever pays too little or too much and it never has anything to do with circumstances or needs of the buying or selling club ...

what a buy he has been. Moshiri ****ed a lot of thing up, but JP has kept us in the league for a few seasons with his performances

There is another story though, which is we've got a stronger 1st 11 and plenty of money left to spend.

Romano etc get **** for just reporting the truth.

Plenty more good players out there mate.. Media focus on a narrow amount.

We've signed plenty of good players.

You might be right on sale but that's the same the most clubs... What was 300 million is now valued well over a billion.

nobody pays too much or too little? Man Utd dropped nearly 200m on Slabhead and Pogba ffs.

Signed for £17m ... leaves for £8 million having helped us win the FA Cup... not quite the same player following a serious injury a couple of years ago and is 28 in December ... goes with our thanks and best wishes ... Boubakary Soumare is a younger more mobile version and has been preferred in pre-season ... our squad is oversized and Wilf was also one of the top earners ... good business all round.
