Nunez as a makeweight in the Isak deal it is then. So if Newcastle value him at £150m, just need £145m cash to balance the deal.
Nunez and DCL is a strike force.

It’s all good fun, but the reality is that Liverpool wanted Isak as their #1 target. We said no, so they bought somebody else who we both had an interest in. The end.

The truth is that we’ll get there with another target, and may also end up with DCL - not him alone.

Window isnt close yet for Liverpool pal.

Liverpool have failed to get Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak from Newcastle in the past year.

We're still very short of center backs after the crazy decision to sell Quansah.

So are we. In amongst all this the thing that has me baffled is why we've decided a forward is our number one priority. We needed a RW (sorted) and one or two CBs. I'd be genuinely pissed if we blew 70m+ on a forward and then didn't get in a half decent defender. Just use that money on a Guehi, Thiam, Scalvini type please Mr Howe. No logic to the last few days from our point of view other than someone at our club getting a hard on over an exciting squad option (unless we were planning to sell Barnes or Gordon)

Not closed for any of us last time I checked. Still, the odds are that we will keep Isak, and we clearly have more money to add to the squad. Exciting times.

Much happening at Everton on the dawn of the new era?
