Got to be honest I'm amazed Cole Palmer has stayed there and not wanted out, they are holding him back. I think in hindsight it is my one disappointment with Pep. Yeah, yeah I went along with it at the time, but I'm not paid stupid money to make such decisions. Mate, I'm not the biggest fan of Maresca's tactics by any stretch ... but in two seasons as a manager he has won the Championship (pretty easily) with us and a European trophy and Champions League qualification with Chelsea - if he wins the Club World Cup (personally I think they'll get smashed) then, technically, that's 3 club trophies in his first 3 seasons as a manager ... if they lose that he's still got a shot at 3 in 3 ... that's pretty good going by any stretch and the acquiring of Pedro and Delap should bring more goals ... they could well kick on ...

I remember when Harry Redknapp made Demba Ba's release clause with us public, nothing happened to him, so I assume nothing like come of this.

If they've not followed the proper process, gone straight to payer, met him, discussed a contract and offered him a deal. Then rocked up to Forrest saying "Here's your £60m" then they deserve to get punished for the sheer ****ing stupidity of it more than anything else. Something's clearly off with Forrest kicking off about it.

Fair enough. I just don't like that squad. Still not the levels of expectation for me. As for Champions League qualification, I'm amazed if you said that without laughing these days. I think you seem to be lowering them to your standard Fosse....you know the one, Leicester Championship levels. <whistle>

Edit: I forgot to give the CWC a menshy, I watched one part of a game of that ****. Although I will have the Final on, but only because an English club is in it, otherwise I'd have binned the final as well.

They'e above us mate ... one of 3 in the list of successful English clubs over the last decade - them, Citeh and Liverpool ... as standards go, I don't mind being the 4th most successful ... for now <whistle>

There was me thinking we won the title in 2015-16... and that it was now 2025 ... but you know best dear ... one thing for sure ... never need to grounbait the swim to guarantee you'll bite ..<laugh>
