Oh well thats alright then, now they are ffp compliant after spending the best part of 15 years lying and cheating to get there.they are it seems, working within the rules until the 115 charges are fully looked into.
United just seemed to have had the rules bent to ensure they were not charged, Liverpool paid a small spying fine or something and Leicester and going to get a point deduction based on winning their sole league title.

Who, Leicester?Oh well thats alright then, now they are ffp compliant after spending the best part of 15 years lying and cheating to get there.
Fuk em
Who, Leicester?
Bit harsh mate, your keeper cost more than their sole title winning squad. But they did pay a fine after breaking FFP before they were promoted to the PL.

Cheating to make it to the big league after relegation isn’t something City had to do.

Neither did we - settled out of court on a without prejudice basis - so never proven or admitted ... thanks for contributing![]()
Settled out of court says it all

Donald Trump didn't sleep with Stormy Daniels either
Indeed it does - economically way cheaper than contesting - and we had much more important things to spend our cash on ... winning a Premier League .... you know what I mean? ... oh wait ... you don't![]()

You're missing the point tho' ... Chelsea have always been there ... just no reason to support them in Hertfordshire ... not until they became the most successful club from London... and that only happened in the last 25 years ... if you think Citeh's (worldwide) popularity will stay static if the next ten year trophy haul matches the last ... then you are decidedly in wishful thinking rather than cold reality mode ...
There aren't many other clubs to latch on to in Hertfordshire. The outer London home county areas don't have a great deal of alternative clubs, so people will look to London and get into the new kid on the block, which was Chelsea.
If you think it's just the same in the NW, by way of population and by lack of alternative league clubs then, soz, you're completely wrong.
And also, are Chelsea now a global mega club?
No, they're not. They've found a level and plateaued.
I think you underestimate supporters actual connection to their actual club, both at home and in Europe/the World.
City won't just take those fans away. They'll certainly pick up new ones, but I very much doubt their global appeal will be as rapid as you think.

It's a very old be very silly point. Not saying it's the same ... just saying don't underestimate the power of success and the fickle nature of human beings ... there is a whole generation of none north-west Liverpool fans that latched on to the club during the 'glory years' and who now have offspring supporting them because of the 'Dad' legacy ... the missus Uncle and his now 40 year old son from Cwm Twrch, a mile from up the road from where I currently am, being prime examples![]()
