I'd say Ipswich have more chance of going down than you and Leicester, they did extremely well last season but their squad is still largely league 1 players, they've added potential to the squad but no experience, you and Leicester have players with some PL experience, McKenna looks a great manager but I think they're in for a rude awakening.

Not so sure mate, everyone said the same about us after we did back to back promotions and that players like Lambert, Lallana, Fonte etc wouldn't cut it.

I've got a feeling they'll surprise a few, think they've got a decent manager who is adaptable and can get them well organised, can see them being very strong at home. The bottom half of the league is ****e too really let's be honest.

You say we've got PL experience but how many of those have actually shown their up to this level? I think we're probably nailed on to finish bottom as it stands. Hardly any goals in the team and we're bound to concede a **** ton, we'll take a fair few hammerings like Sheffield United did last year.

That sounds like fighting talk @Peej

Never over 'till it's over ...

Much happier going into this season than the last under Brendan
I think both you and Southampton will be fine. Have a sneaky suspicion Brentford’s time is coming to an end, just can’t see Ipswich surviving but I can see them surprising a few early doors when it’s new. Fulham always have the potential to have a cluster **** of a season too.

Brentford need to get relegated so they can go back to being supported by half a dozen weird old men and Isleworth returns to being a Manchester United stronghold.

Not sure why you think that about us. No goals in the team and we'll concede **** loads playing Martin's style.

We took two 5 goal hammerings last season whilst having one of the best squads in the league so can only assume there'll be even more now we'll have one of the worst.

To be honest mate I was just buttering you up to get the first round in 3 weeks time <cheers>

Well no one can accuse of being overly optimistic mate.

Does feel very Burnleh.

I'm pretty optimistic of having another VAR-free season to look forward to <whistle>

This season's gonna be terrible. Especially if we manage to stay up.

Ok you've convinced me now. I was on the fence but want us to beat you in the first game just for you.

Hopefully for you it's a 5-0 type game.

Probably will be. We've got an atrocious record up there even when we were half decent!

Jake O’Brien is reported to be almost a done deal.

from the farmers league so will be a similar standard to the lad United have signed.
