He was pretty average when I watched him in the PL. Maybe he's improved since then but in terms of quality needed in the PL I didn't think he was all that.

Dunno why ... those young guns we sold you, Maguire and Evans have been ripping it up surely? ...

OK not as much as the ones we sold to Citeh and Chelsea espectively, who went on to win both more PL titles and Champions Leagues ... but at least they helped you to win the errrr... oh wait! <laugh>
