I actually agree, there's no need to panic if he stays then fine and if he goes there will be a huge transfer fee. We then have to pick a starting 3 from Nunez, Diaz, Jota, Gakpo and the youngster Doak. If he stays then we sell him in the Summer anyway.

The news is breaking in Saudi that a deal for Salah has now been agreed. Liverpool would be mad not to accept all that money. Salah hasn’t looked the same player this year and he’s hardly set the world alight the first few games of this season.

Yeah he’s got 2 years on his deal but if you sell him now then no time to get a replacement (there’s not many that could replace Salah anyway) and it’s a huge blow.

£200 million when the deadline is closed isn’t useful is it.

Really? He’s still their best offensive player by some distance for me.

If it happened earlier in the window then wouldn’t be such a huge issue but if they lose their star man on deadline day then it has huge implications for their season.

He's still a very good player but for how long? For £200M we have to take it imo, I listed earlier that we already have enough players to cover him but even better if we have someone lined up.

I agree for the amount of money that I saw Luv mention further on, I would be selling. I've never felt that Salah has been the same since Mane left anyway, maybe I'm wrong and the stats show differently (haven't looked) but I apply the same logic as I did with Kane, I feel it's crazy to build your whole team around one ageing man, for the sort of money being chucked around, you should be building a young substainable team and if you can't do that with £200M of easy money, then they are worse than Pep is how I see it. <whistle>
