With us Nkunku, Jackson, Moreira and Angelo have come in as new buys, with Lukaku, Colwill, Maatsen, Casadei and Hall coming back from loans.

Out are Havertz, Mount, Kovacic, Koulibaly, Pulisic, Mendy, Loftus-Cheek, Ampadu, Kante, Azpilecueta and Aubameyang.

We were always gonna flog more than we were gonna buy because our squad was an over bloated mess and of those, the only one I didnt really want to see leave was Mount, the rest I was eager to offload. Though I werent particularly hoping we'd flog Havertz and Kovacic to Arsenal and City respectively.
We need another CM and a striker before the window shuts.

No more strikers please. We play one up top and we have bought two. I don't want to buy one more just to leave then benched whats the point.

Cm i agree, we need another one of them. Hopefully colwill will get a chance at cb as there's loads of good things said about him.

Who is moreira/angelo/maatsen/casadei? Never heard of them and are they even young get any game time? If not im not counting them as new no players

Moreira and Angelo are youngsters who probably wont feature a ton, Moreira comes highly rated though, but he is 18

Maatsen and Casadei are youth players who have been promoted to the first team by Poch. They are 21 and 20 respectively and Casadei especially, everyone has been raving about, but again they are likely to be eased in to the first team. Which is why I listed them as additions to the squad and not purchases.

Angelo is another 18 year old we bought for £15m from Santos in Brazil.

Of them I expect only Casadei, as a CM will receive a good amount of play time, specifically because we need midfielders and he is the "hottest prospect" of the lot.

If Lukaku stays I expect we will not sign another striker, but if he doesnt, then we will likely go for a replacement

But we don't need a replacement do we? Nkunku, jackson and broja alongside whoever we want to try as false 9. No point buying another up coming striker sure our academy has plenty.

Those 3 are all decent with potential and Broja brings something different, can't see why you'd need to buy a striker.

I cant stand the false 9 tactic and hope to god that is not what Poch is hoping to employ. He didnt do that at Spurs or PSG to my knowledge, he has always played with a number 9 and two wide players.
I have seen nothing in Broja to make me think he is at the level we need, nor can he stay fit for a spell of more than 10 games before he is on the sick bed.
Nkunku is not a number 9 and is unproven in that position.
Jackson IS a 9 I think, and looks decent, but not sure we want to pin our seasons hopes on him coming good.
I am just nervous when it comes to Chelsea and new strikers, we have so much bad luck.

Typical Chav fan, buy buy buy! You've got 3 good options up top there and all young enough to improve.

All these years of buying new strikers and them sucking harder than Jenna Jameson has left me paranoid I think.
You can hardly blame me, the number of big name strikers we have signed who have come to Chelsea and sucked arse.
Sutton, Morata, Torres, Shevchenko, Lukaku.

That's why you should welcome a change and allow these new lads to develop. Changing your manager 2 or 3 times a season isn't going to help though.

@Saff bod thinks that jackson will start for chelsea as he is the only striker. Will take that info for my FF too

I thought he’s met people, I can vividly remember a toon lad on here saying Munse had a body like a temple. I thought it was a bit puffy so it stuck in my mind and because of that I assumed they’d met up.

Liverpool I think, based on the back end of last season, should be back up there.
Chelsea are a bigger doubt.
Man City will be top 4, no question, probably United and Arsenal too.
That really leaves one spot, and my money's on Liverpool.

Saying that, isnt it Top 5 for CL for the PL now?
If so, then possibly, if we continue to be ****, and Ange doesnt work out for the spuds.

EDIT: Yeah its top 5 for the leagues with the highest two coefficients now, which is the PL and La Liga.

since when? afaik a maximum of 5 can get in, 4 places are given to the premier league and an extra one if a team 5th or below wins either the CL or Europa league.If both those Euro cups are won by teams below 4th, only the top 3 get in + those 2 cup winners.
