They’ll play a second team to get them through the group stages at least, surely. Champions league is a different ball game, every team needs to play their strongest eleven.
 
It depends how confident they are of achieving top four.

The EL gives the winner a CL place, so those who are pursuing that as a priority (United and Arsenal last season, for instance) have to field strong sides in the EL and try to win it.

They could abandon the EL completely, but I doubt they would.

Plus, they play on a Thursday so it ****s up your league schedule.

the upside of playing on a Thursday is less Sat 12:30 Ko's which we are nearly always ****e in .

Would be great to see klopp win it after missing out in his 1st season.

I dont understand why we've loaned out ramsey tbh, now millys gone we only have him gomez and Bradley who can cover when trent needs a rest

Gomez offers fuk all going forward really and i dont think hes that good a rb anyways, when he played there before trent he was bang average.

Maybe its bradleys year to try break through

But we need another midfielder and a defender to be really strong again

Without any doubt it'll give Jurgen some great ammo to moan about the scheduling though, if things start to go wrong. Be worth a watch.
