Do fans count player records though, I know they count club records (trophies), but I've rarely taken any interest in player records, other than age and their ability to keep playing. I remember world cup golden boots, so that's an individual record, we remember when players aim to score 60 goals in a season, but beyond that?

I wanna tell you a story <max bygraves> ...

When our new American owner took over, he wanted to place pictures of past greats through the home end concourse. Anyway after it was done, I was looking at the pictures and turned to my mate and said, where is Ron Hillyard? He goes what mate...I said Hillyard he played for us more times than any other player (back in my day). The moral of that story is people don't remember as time goes by, they only remember trophies.

I didn't even know of this Shearer record, it only means something to the Spurs fans I suppose, like Hillyard meant something to me, for only time then to forget.

1.3/10

Must try harder bro

So we do what?

he’s going wether it’s this summer or next

great players have come n gone from Spurs in the past

we haven’t been relegated in my lifetime

Looking forward to the new gaffers project

(until he’s sacked next season)

I just think you keep him for as long as possible because the current situation could turn nasty without him. Even with him I think next season is going to be a tough one and Spurs will struggle.

I still can’t quite believe Spurs sacked Conte and took such a risk on his successor.

The transfer situation will be the usual and I think the new manager will once again be forced to use the likes of Dier, Sanchez and Ben Davies (none of them are good enough). Plus you got the likes of Ndombele, Lo Celso & Winks back from their loans and Levy probably thinks Ange will be able to get a tune out of them even though they’ve failed multiple managers.

I said to myself that I’m keeping quiet till the transfer window shuts

ins n outs will show us what our intentions are

got to back the new man though

let’s see if Levy backs him with key additions

we know what they are

Sorry mate I disagree, I look at things differently, how can a club go from 15 years of winning nothing, to er winning nothing - I was going to say there is nothing hard about this, but then realised there is one thing hard about it, too scared to change - for me it's break that voodoo once and for all.

I hope they sign someone **** to replace him

We’ve agreed personal terms with Maddison and are trying to get a deal done this week. If he can avoid those niggling injuries that’s a top signing for us if it goes through. Been crying out for creativity for years since Eriksen left.

We’re trying to chuck Winks in Leicester’s direction as well, would be a separate deal and not to do with our pursuit of Maddison but Jesus that might be our best news of the summer if we pull that off.
