Unfortunately we are returning the favour. I was talking to Riggy yesterday and I asked him straight up if he was going to you and he didn't say yes but his reaction told me everything.

Oh yeah, agree with most of that. We're nowhere near the best team in the league and 4 out of 5 of our back 5 had only been with us for a few months when the season started, our defensive stats are fantastic but come from a defensive mindset. The difference between now and previous eras are that a) we're doing much better and b) so many of our players seem to be on form so create things out of little (Almiron a prime example).

If we are going to achieve more going forward we'll need to push teams more, too many draws.
 
Just saw a stat. Gordon being Newcastles 2nd most expensive signing. Big risk from how after buying Ibe and Solanke from Merseyside previously. Think he managed the pair well.

Played OK today in his first full start since before the World Cup...

In other news, Brazilian winger Tete passed his medical ... and apparently we have offered Torino 28 million Euros plus Denis Praet for their Dutch centre back, Perr Schuurs...

No incomings in midfield ...
