That’s all well and good but will you be putting each other in hospital on match day?

Will you be accusing each other of fingering your sisters?

Will you be smashing each others coaches and pubs up on match day?

Will you smash each others city centres up on your visits?

It ain’t the same Luvvy. Stop stepping on our toes and concentrate on your own rivals.
We're more drunk uncle that inexplicably manages to **** your wife at a family gathering than the sister fingering types. We get results.

Brighton, Villa, Manchester United, Liverpool and even Arsenal…all them teams finished above my team.

No comments made to take away their achievement (apart from bantz with our closest rivals)

financial doping is a real phrase in the world of sport

what you all going to say next?

everyone is jealous?

another lazy observation

You all need to get your best simping ready for tomorrow night

an English team is playing in Europe

I'd love it if West Ham won. I also want Man City to win. If I could only pick one I'd pick West Ham as it's a better story and feels more unique.

Support pretty much any English team in Europe, plus it'll probably mean there's 5 spots for English teams in the Champions league at the end of next season (with the new rules coming in then in 4 of the last 5 seasons we'd have qualified to have the 5th spot in the league also qualify). So it's also possibly self-serving - i don't think we'll finish top 5 next season but i don't think we'll be a million miles off it in the next few years either.

I don’t want either to win it

I understand rivalry and that expands to European football too

hate teams every weekend but support them in Europe?

id rather pack the game in

you all become politicians and nationalists who support a team because they are English like your club

terrible Nazi thought process

Looks like Benzema, Kante and Zaha are away to Saudi

Happily supports other groups and factions and wants them to do well = terrible Nazi thought process

Well I guess it's one way of looking at it.

It's pretty much always been the case. I'm fairly sure that when we were actually good and won stuff we had spent a chunk and @Saff will be able to confirm a memory of mine that Sunderland had some rich name when they won the title numerous times in the early 20th century as they'd thrown money around to do it. If we want to strip titles for it I suspect it would cast a shadow over many of the winners for the past 100+ years (not all i accept).

ps. just noticed @Big Ern pretty much said this in his post I've quoted. Oh well, I'm sticking to it.
We were called the Bank Of England in the early 50's but we won fcuk all during that time <laugh>

Each Saudi side will have a superstar at this rate. Their league could become interesting to watch
No differently to the MLS at the moment. Players careers are coming to an end and disappearing for the money.

It will never be interesting to watch.

Saudis will watch Newcastle and not give a **** about their own league. Happens every single time a foreign investor buys a British club, their fans at home tune in.

'mount of Leicester City shirts in Thailand for example

I want West Ham to win because Sunlun' fans like @Saff despise Moyes and it will be funny

I honestly won't give a fcuk. I hate him, not West Ham. I've actually been thinking I want West Ham to win which shows how much I think about David Moyes.
