Is he, I hadn't heard that confirmed but instinctively I'd say he is planning to stay? The money in for him would free up funds for an actual centre midfield player (Wharton as an idea) , as Fernandes isn't one. Fernandes, however, isn't getting in at one of the two tens ahead of Cunha or Mbuemo (or Zirkzee even), so he suddenly needs to be centre forward if he stays! Two good signings to start though, if they come off, and it sounds like they will. Not bothered by this bad apple bit, he'll be committed and dogged and not a ****ing lightweight, which is what we've been subjected to the last couple of seasons. We need some dog. Perhaps others will copy him. We still need to get Rashford, Sancho, Antony and Garnacho out of the door, there is no place for them. We're fine at back three and WB, but could also do with changing the keeper.
One of the only positives from the Ashley era was that he got the huge wages we were paying under Ashley significantly down, and we've built steadily from there and they haven't got berserk with the wages, whereas Man U only ever offer ridiculous wages. Sancho started to look good again at Chelsea, but there's too much **** with him happened at Man U for him to work there now, needs to leave. Presumably Man U will redesign the team now, but they've got a lot of work to do, Dan Ashworth really did a number on them.
There's this guy called Scott McTominay at Napoli, their player of the season and instrumental in them winning the Italian league
Yeah, and I know his capabilities all too well and playing in a midfield two doesn't work, never did. He'd have been a decent success further forward in one of the front three in Amorim's formation, but that was very rarely tried under other managers, apart from when coming on as a sub. Wish him well, but we're aiming higher. He had his chance, multiple ones.
Fernandes staying then. He could play in midfield if he shows the discipline to do so, and allows Mbuemo, Cunha, Zirkzee the freedom they need with him not being in their way. £200k a week is pretty much par for a top of the tree signing nowadays BTW. Ask what Liverpool are offering Wirtz, for instance, and get back to me. The only bummer today is ****ing Sancho is coming back. So, not world class after all, eh. But, but United are toxic blah, blah, cliche etc.
No, I quoted myself because you more or less just did exactly what I quoted, immediately after For **** sake, is it that difficult? Here we go; I say, United are toxic blah, blah, cliche cliche. Which is standard social media 'fact' stating by people who know **** all about anything. Following post, you say; They'll have turned him to dog ****e within six months. Ta Daaaa, there's your cliche.
Cunha is a top talent and Wolves could well struggle without him ... think you've actually got a bit of a bargain there, given his age ..
So City have signed a Reindeer for £46m must have been my imagination but only a few weeks ago Guardiola was moaning his squad was too big and how he would walk away unless it was trimmed down yet he is still there with another 2 players added
