Good player but won’t really fit Ange’s style. Said on our board before he’s the best player we can afford to sell in the squad.
I thought he had huge potential under Mourhino. Never progressed since he left though.
He’s a proper grafter, always get 100% every game from him but he just lacks a bit of technical quality for possession based systems which we’ll be playing this season, he’s just a bit too rigid.
We only paid £15m for him too which considering the mistakes we’ve made in recent years and the nature of the market, was excellent, so if we can double our money on someone we won’t really need now and put the money to use it’ll be sound business.

That 19/20 window was a disaster for us. Him for £55m, Lo Celso for £42m and Sessegnon for £25m plus Onomah.

I aint watxhed Lavia at all but he is 19 and cant have that many appearances under his belt plus he now gonna be playing championship football so saints asking for 50m is optimistic to say the least.
Fuxk knows who this next guy is but if moneyball says its a go then Lavia to lfc will be dumped.

Take the money and finally buy a decent CB. Hojbjerg isn’t top of my list of players I’d like to see sold but he’s quite limited so wouldn’t be a massive loss.
