Plus, the Soton board know that they'll likely be losing Schneiderlin and Clyne along with seeing Alderweireld's loan ending soon, they were probably desperate to tie one of their remaining key players down.

Well, we're personally delighted that an England international striker has decided to sign a new contract with us.
