This from Vital Fulham:
The Sunday press are intimating that Martin Jol is trying to wrestle the PSV Eindhoven striker, Ola Toivonen, away from the grasp of Norwich City.
Although it is being reported that Toivonen is on the verge of a £4.7 million move to Norwich, Jol is hoping that the offer of a higher salary may tempt the player to Craven Cottage.
His task may be helped by the fact that Jol and the player share the same agent. Furthermore, and this might be pushing it a little too far, Jol is hoping to get the £4.7 million fee down to a more respectable £3 million based on the fact that the 26year-old has only twelve months left on his contract.
An interesting one!
I wonder which way this one will turn!
