Spurs' best XI would surely be one of the strongest in the league, it's just in terms of depth they're lacking at the moment I think, a few injuries at the wrong time could hurt them badly. Edit: Elmander finally confirmed then, which probably puts the Toivonen theory to bed. Happy with him as 3rd/4th choice, presumably no fee involved as it's a loan. Very much a stop-gap signing, and once again. shrewd business by the club I think.
quick question: is johan elmander the most capped international player we've ever had play for the club? also just noticed the deal is a season-long loan. pleased with that
Good transfer business IMO, it's just a loan in the end of the day. Was worried we were going to be paying millions for someone who is 32 and with no resale value.
Looks kinda cool in the yellow and green. Bet he looks a mean bugger in a Viking Helmet and toting a broadsword !
I believe Mark Bowen with 35 was a previous holder of that record, although he finished his career on 41 apparently, so I don't know whether that 35 includes just his appearances whilst at Norwich. Edit: Good shout Goldeneye. Perhaps Bowen just holds the record for most caps whilst at the club then. Honourable mentions: Robert Earnshaw (58), John Hartson (51) Paul Lambert (40) Dejan Stefanovic (20)
How do International loans work in tandem with the PL allowance of 2? Are we allowed 2 Domestic and unlimited International ones?
Norwich City FC have just tweeted that Johan has no twitter account and if that changes, look for the "official" blue tick!
Just goes to show a 134,000 followers doesn't make it genuine!, you can actually pay people and they will create thousands of fake followers for you.
as a recap we now have in our squad: 2 Dutch 2 swedes 1 norweigan 1 cameroon 1 spanish 1 argentinian an international flavour for sure - anyone missing?
