Don't know a great deal about him at all (although I do vaguely remember him signing for Spurs). Seems to have a decent scoring record in The Netherlands.
I personally do think it's a bit of lazy journalism going on there, bit like maxi lopez. People know were after a striker and so were going to get linked with any player on there way out of a club.
In other news Everton look like they are stepping up interest in Toby Alderweireld, I'd be extremely depressed if they get him, hate our boys to be facing him in their opening match

By the way, could we please upgrade Gary Hooper to a signing from the initial thread, he is still down as a possible signing and I would like to think that that particular chapter has been completed now. Thanks DK

not norwich related but just noticed that anzhi are in meltdown, putting their whole squad up for sale and sacking manager rene meulensteen after just two games. we currently have a gap to be filled in the england under 21 setup - get meulensteen in there please
I see Solomon Kalou is available for £2.6m, I know his wages will probably be too high but would anyone be interested in him?

Kalou? No thanks. He's not actually as old as I thought he was (28), but I don't think someone who plays as a winger or striker is really what we need, particularly on the salary he'll demand.
