QPR have just signed Austin. Guess the medicals there aren't as stringent as at Hull, or they just dont care if he is fit enough?! Just desperate to sign a striker I suppose they hadnt spent any money for a while, must have been burning a whole.

Could say the same about us signing Fer.

They obviously thought the 'risk' was worthwhile with Austin.

I can't get over this Doncaster signing some boy band prick. The fans must be devastated, what a transfer.

If he ever plays for them I wonder of I can get odds on him getting seriously injured, he may as well wear a target on his back instead of a squad number, crazy transfer!!

Got to agree - quite an embarrassing publicity stunt.

Can't see the problem with Doncaster's stunt. Give him a squad number and play him in a development match. I bet they sell loads of shirts with his squad number or with 1 Direction on the back.

Bit or a talking point, harmless and generates money from die hard teen boy band fans.

Yep, good marketing ploy by Donny. Some fans won't like it (maybe rightly so), but it'll probably make them a bit of cash.

However, as Beef mentioned, I bet there'll be some players unhappy about it and will be tempted to give him a bit of a kicking.

Just seen this fantasy ex Norwich championship team for next season.
He's going to change Shackell for Barnett, but I think it's not too shabby a team <ok>
Plus Shackell, Chris Martin and Rob Green to come in if injuries apply <ok>

just watched the norwich city 92 live thing on skysports news with the manager saying we can't play aggressive also he says he glad to have done his business early by the things he said it sounds like no more signings which i don't agree with and we are not going to be aggressive this season so more defensive tactics again. we befo need 1 more striker as rvw, hooper and beccheo as only strikers and beccheo is rubbish gives the ball away to much. and we need cover for bassong who is injured and not likely to start season so we need a cb to replace him while he is out. so we need 2 players not 0.

You'd be pretty pleased with that team in the Championship.
