Can I ask if there are any other geographical areas you don't like players from or is it just localised to Africa and Scotland? Maybe the Japanese?
Thank goodness Hooper is English then IMO - R Martin, Snodgrass and Whittaker acquittted theselves well last year.
Well, Whittiker hardly played, Martins not really Scottish and Snodgrass (who is probably their best player and one of ours) has been playing over here a while.
I quite like him, I think he's proven himself to warrant the purchase given he's been successful at two clubs. I do think we've spent too much however. He seems to be strong and have good movement, I don't think he'll contribute to creating chances for others. If he doesn't score goals I don't think it will be his fault as I think he will need plenty of support to create space for him. He will be very reliant on others to allow him to score.
Brilliant, reminds me of an episode of The Likely Lads where James Bolam has, I think, returned from a spell in the army and lays into various nationalities and attributes sweeping generalisations to them. That said, I reckon he got most of them about right!
I don't like the Brazilians. All flair and passing. Totally incapable of banging a long ball up to a big fella. All tricks, and no elbows!
I don't know if your serious or not, the Brazilians are awful to watch in comparison to years gone by. Waste of resources.
Why do all our threads end up in innuendo? Yesterday it was dunking hobnobs, today it's watching Brazilians. Carry On Canaries.
