He has signed a three year contract with Wigan. I can only see him being mainly on the subs bench, much like Gary Roberts and Noel Hunt last season. Good luck to him though

He is a 6' 1" Jamaican international striker, 34 years of age, but the kind of player who could do well in Division 1.
Jackett seems to be trying to add fire power to Pompey's squad. Curtis is a winger/forward, Dennis is a winger/forward and Donalson a forward. It's not a bad idea because we relied too much on Pitman last season and without his goals we'd probably have been battling relegation.

He played really well against us at Fratton Park last season. Would be good as number two keeper to Luke McGee.
League One Portsmouth have signed goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray on a two-year deal after he turned down a new contract at rivals Shrewsbury. MacGillivray made 14 appearances in all competitions last season after joining Shrewsbury from Walsall. The 25-year-old was offered a new two-year deal by the League One play-off finalists, but will instead join Pompey when his contract expires on 1 July. Meanwhile, Pompey midfielder Adam May has signed a new two-year contract. "Craig will provide good competition for (goalkeeper) Luke McGee," boss Kenny Jackett said. "He has been slightly unlucky in the past to be behind some top keepers, but he's ready for the opportunity." May, 20, is an academy graduate who made his senior debut aged just 17 in 2015. He has gone on to make 25 appearances. "The gaffer is a really impressive manager with experience at a higher level, so it means a lot that he's put his trust in me," he said.

"It strengthens the spine of our side, while he also brings us recent Championship experience," Jackett added. Naylor, who played 33 games for Burton as they were relegated from the Championship last season, began his career at Mansfield Town before joining Derby County. At 6' 2", and able to play as a centre half, right back, or central midfield, he will be a valuable addition to the Pompey squad.

Apparently, ex-Pompey centre half 23 year old Adam Webster could be on his way from Ipswich Town to Bristol City for a fee in the region of £3.5 million. City have just sold Aiden Flint to Middlesborough for circa. £7 million. If the move goes ahead, Pompey are in line for a windfall of some £850,000, being a percentage of the sell on fee clause that our excellent Chief Executive Mark Catlin had the foresight to insert into the sales contract. Hopefully, a decent amount of money for the club to reinvest in new signings !! Happy days
Added to the initial transfer of £700,000 that Ipswich paid for him this means that Adam Webster's transfer away from Pompey netted the club £1,550,000, in addition to the fact that his transfer was a part-exchange and we got Matt Clarke out of the deal, so all round it's one of the best bits of transfer business the club has done in recent memory.
