We are ****ed now and another 15 points season awaits another ****e ownership continues with Short etc bloody disgrace no Mitrovic means championship next season christ this is depressing

You are depressing! ****e ownership? **** off and then when ya get there **** off again! Of all that ****e you talk that takes the ****ing piss! This club is night and day compared to short and the rest! I think we have some of the best owners in the league personally and can see what they are doing and its far from depressing its exciting as ****!

I know you don't handle defeat well but **** me this is up there with your worst and that's saying a lot!

Facts are he always carries a threat. Didn’t have a great game but was on the end of the chance and had a couple of great runs where he held the ball.

He’s 1 in 2 in the League and still learning it. I’ve no concerns with Mayenda.

We should be looking at the fact we only created one chance for him.

Lautaro. Isak, Salah whoever nobody scores every chance. They get multiple chances.

Midfield needs shuffled we lack creativity there. We need to give the runners more to run into, then strikers get more chances.

Put simply, it’s time for Enzo centrally. It doesn’t concern me which of Diarra or Sadiki makes way as I feel with can work with Enzo. I’d argue Diarra based on performances, but he is probably better to play advanced of Enzo and Xhaka.

It’s a real positive that we have an alternative right there.
Agree totally, but it’s only a positive if it’s explored.

I don’t think there was a meltdown mind. Few lost their heads a wee bit but overall it was ‘that happened, we have options, move on’.

We’ve 2 games this week, one get the second options up to season speed, the second is massive.

It will be bouncing on Saturday again, mark my words.
I mean looking at the way some supporters reacted with Eli it was like it was December 24 all over again and he hadn’t been a key reason why we are in the prem with 3 points.
Maybe it has just triggered me because I had spent a lot of January fighting fans online in defence of him and not wanting a new striker. Mayenda learns from every miss he has it’s very rare he has a similar bad miss twice. I think this is how he has grown so quickly in the last year

Although it might suit us I’m not happy about how it appears that Lucumi and his agent are going about getting a move to us because the same thing could happen to us if he’s here and wants a move in the future.

We do need a CB though.
When Dan went off we weren’t as secure at the back. Seelt may well be a future Premier CB but he’s not there yet and if he plays against Brentford they will target him as our weak spot.
Is Lucumi quick? Alderete looks like a good stopper but not quick. Ballard not quick, Seelt not quick. I think we need pace at the back.

Power of Google tells me..
"Lucumí is noticeably quick for a center back — especially in recovery and sprint situations — but not among the elite in overall speed compared to fullbacks or attacking players"

Okay lads, just got back from a few days at Disneyland. Excellent holiday which the little one enjoyed but meant I missed the match yesterday.

I heard we had a good first half and poor second basically? It happens, so we move on from a poor result.

CB desperately needed - especially with Ballard’s injury. Whether we accelerate the Lucumi chase or go for someone else I don’t know, but one is needed within 48 hours imo to get them bedded in for the Brentford game.

Then probably a winger who is left footed and goes on the right. Love Talbi but he’s so raw. Will be an exceptional player in a year or two but not right now.

Are you David Moyes' love child? First defeat of the season and you reckon we're going down. We're still in the top half of the table, level on points with the likes of Man City and ahead of Aston Villa.

Don't be so quick to throw the towel in Monty.

It’s Monty man, I’m not even sure if he knows he’s talking to anybody.

Just ignore him, he's been posting shyte like this for years on here. He does it to seek attention.

It has infuriated me too the switch up is outrageous even top players miss chances

Are city fans demanding another striker after yesterday’s haaland performance against spurs?

I was annoyed he missed his chance yesterday (he missed timed it and the ball hit his standing leg ) but we are at our most dangerous when he’s on the pitch. I am still of the opinion that he will score 10+ goals in the league this season

this is the premier league we as a fanbase are going to need to understand we are probably going to lose more than we win, we aren’t top dogs anymore I know it’s been a while since we haven’t been one of the biggest clubs in the league we are in. But we can’t be having a meltdown every time we lose otherwise the club is somehow going to become more toxic than 23/24
I think Mayenda and Isidor are for tired legs. Keen to see Guiu Tuesday.
