I think it’s very reactionary to say we need a centre forward after today. Yes Mayenda should score but throwing an experienced striker in there isn’t going to guarantee goals, who says Isidor or Guiu wouldn’t have scored that opportunity.
Today was about our ability to break down a low block which we have struggled with for years, which is why I think we’re looking for more quality on the wings. Bringing a Fatawu or a Daghim on instead of Roberts to create a bit of magic out of nothing would have really helped.
Not to mention our biggest threat from set pieces went off after 10 minutes.

Yeah, can't be having Roberts coming off the bench in the PL, for me. We need better options.

Weve needed a cb and a big investment and the club know that, ballard is unreal but cannot be relied on.

I'd be surprised if a striker comes in. Wouldn't be against it but i'd be surprised. Mayenda will be fine, he's inconsistent in front of goal but unless we're willing to spend huge on someone I don't think we'll get the consistent goalscorer every club on the globe wants.

Big mistake by Lucumi for Romas goal tonight, playing for a transfer? 
Yes having watched them today definitely a centre back (Ballard injured again),we need pace out wide dont have enough to take on full backs and get behind them. I would still like a big powerful forward to hold the ball up and link play up..Oh and score a few goals also.

Really, you have more chance of a goal from an experienced forward than a rookie in a new division.
