Re Ramsay. If Howe can get him back to his form of a couple of years ago then they have a hell of a good player on their hands. Still relatively young and may yet flourish. He can play in 2 or 3 positions too. I an a world where I see Arsenals bench today and think I am so out of touch with what a sub looks like, I think this is good business by them tbh.

He might thrive under Howe, but he has had a good manager at Villa and went backwards. They had to sign another though, so we'll see soon enough I suppose. I still wonder at them selling Anderson, whatever the numbers said or didn't say.

The things I would do to get him back I’d happily deal with Roberts on the right for a few weeks if it means that the player that made me fall back in love with football returns. especially since for medical reasons I couldn’t get to a game while he was here

The club are class at maximising fees, but there's no way we get 25m for Neil

Less than a year on his contract so 25m is pretty unlikely. I’d like him to stay but if he went it’d be more like 12m at the most.

Yeah they agreed then bought 2 wide players instead. I thought Como had agreed a fee earlier im the window too.

I doubt our net spend is 100m. We could probably afford him, we may think he’d be a luxury signing when there’s still a couple of places we need to prioritise in the squad. It could be a season too early for him. He’s more of an upgrade signing, at the moment.

Think we’d do well to get even half of that for Dan. The wage bill could be a bigger sticking point rather than what we have left to spend.

Think our net is probably about 110m. I think we’d push for the right big signing but otherwise I reckon there’s a loan and one permanent signing. Think we’ll try to be within 125 net so we have some scope in Jan if needed.
