Think it's a thigh issue this time, think he was suppose to be out for a few weeks only
Think he also didn't play much for PSG due to the competition for places
That is how Sunderland sign these big name players because they have injury concerns otherwise other bigger fish would snap them up

Be very happy with someone who can cover cb and rb, just what we need imo. Think we wanted that big money cb signing with pace but possibly struggled to attract one with the competition we were facing. Alderete sounds like a really strong pick up with Getafe having to sell for cheaper than they wanted due to financial restrictions.

Good player. Very good. However, seems to consistently pick up multiple, lengthy muscular strains. Hasn't managed to play 20 games a season for 3-4 years.
Mostly plays at RB and you'd imagine that Hume will likely be starting so could be smart for us if he isn't starting as many
Can't see how it's smart to sign someone who's injury prone in any position.
Think people are looking at his time at PSG and seeing he's not played much and saying it's injuries. However, think the lack of game was mostly due to the competition he was up against
Exactly, not a slight on him that he couldn't get ahead of hakimi at RB or Marquinhos at CB.
He gets 15-20 games every single season and also had competition in his spots, it's not like he's out for entire seasons and hasn't been playing
