I think Seelt starts Saturday.

Masuaku has barely had a pre season so will be on the bench if anything. Same with Guiu.

Possibly, it was more to highlight we have numbers and options. Some may not think they options are good enough, but my opinion is the options we have are good players that can and will do a decent job when called upon.

According to the live on the whistle with Barnes and Phil Smith, Alese expects to leave the club either on loan or for good

I also think if we sign a new CB and RB both Huggins and Seelt will head out on loan
Would be a real shame RE Alese, great player in there but the lad just can’t stay fit maybes a fresh start is best for him

Agreed, I rate him but we can't just keep loads of players hoping they might fulfil their potential

We need to move players on if we outgrow them as it's likely to be what's best for their careers

Alese and Triantis jump out at me at moving on
Wouldn’t have a single problem with Triantis leaving either. He’s clearly a decent player but at PL level? He’d need time and we don’t have it really.

I really rate Triantis, I watched him live loads last season but I honestly don't see a PL CM.

He struggles to cover the ground at pace and struggles on the half turn but I think he can become a very good championship CM

He turns 23 this season and we have better younger players than him in CM now

Not sure how anyone can say they don't rate Roberts, he can be frustrating at times but wingers always are. He has loads of ability and can create goals out of nothing. Although he does need to add more goals to his game

More goals is abit of an understatement. He's scored only 6 goals in 88 games for us and alot of them games were in League 1 against weak opposition

I often wonder why he’s not had much of a go as a defender. It’s what he came as.

Where did you get 88 from?

He’s played 141 league games here and only 17 of those were in League One…

I’ve never seen a championship player shoot as badly as he does. I reckon I’d fancy Patterson at shooting above Roberts (actually on reflection that’s not true). He did reinvent himself as a deeper defensive wide player who could break fast. Before that I was done with him.

I just had a quick look at wiki whilst at work. They must have got it wrong then.

Either way what i said still stands. Scoring more is an understatement
