Yeah me too mate and I really rate Huggins but big ask coming back from his injury we have the legs in midfield now to help him out though, hopefully a centre half arrives and puts and end to these concerns
On paper our CM should dominate them, really like what we've done there

Bowen is just different class so we would need to play him well - double up and block the space inside and force him on the outside

I'm saying we sign a CB before then tho

the daikitie thing is interesting

obviously many a team, including us, have been in the mix as its been quite the saga

must be doing something right if weve been in tht mix

signings will go to window close, ideally you want them in asap but thats how it goes

judge them when window shuts

KTF

agreed, fishing in tougher ponds now

I’m not judging them as I think they’ll get the players they want eventually but still a little worried about the potential of having a make do and mend back line first game back

still think we get at least 1 in time for them to play v west ham

Id just worry about Huggins up against Bowen, and if it's Harrison Jones it could get messy (that battle not the game in general)

Id feel a lot more confident having Reinildo at LB against Bowen
Would you maybe swap Hume and Huggins then or would you have the same worry?

Exactly how i feel. Plus it would be reinildo out of position. Its not the championship we are up against top class players each week

Bournemouth will without a doubt be in for a left sided centre back who is comfortable on the ball like Huijsen, whether they’re interested in Lucumi we don’t know but the likes of NDicka (Roma) Viega (Chelsea) would more than likely be on a list of targets as they’ve got a lot of money to spend after selling most of the back 4, would love any of them here!

Nah, Paquetta is also really talented but keep Hume in his better position as he will offer more going forward imo - hopefully we will be doing more attacking anyway
Didn’t realise they played him on the left although city are apparently back in for him

People are rightly worried about Bowen, but who else arw we expecting West Ham to start with? Wilson? Fullkrug? Yes a challenge but not exactly world beaters

Levi Colwill just had ACL surgery so that’s Chelsea looking for a defender albeit in a different market to us but might stop Renato Veiga going anywhere

Given the comments by RLB you’d be thinking it has to be experienced players, ever since he said that’s we needed our signings have been Roefs and Guiu

wonder if we are thinking of an experienced PL centre back perhaps on loan with the parent club paying a fair bit of wages….. especially if we are finding it hard to get our main targets in at that position
