I think Neil showed decent leadership skills last season, particularly around mentality. He didn’t always do it on the field but did for a spell. His dip coincided with the teams dip, not saying it was his fault, people click together, but he didn’t / couldn’t lead us out of it. The real leader last year was 09 though and he was name dropped a number of times by younger players. Was referring more to his captaincy mate. All the celebrations in the dressing room after the semi final. Everyone going mental. All was brilliant. Dan walks in calm as anything and gives his little speech about not being done and his feelings toward the squad. That is elite mentality to me, being able to stay calm in any situation. Even when struggling in the final he knew he couldnt go on and needed to be subbed. Afterwards he had self awareness to point out how his own performance wasnt great and cramp had got the better of him. I agree in terms of football his performance at Wembley wasnt great. But his overall contribution stands for me. He led the team really well last season imo. I know many disagree, and that is fine, probably me that is wrong. I have fully owned up loads of time to being his chief cheerleader and I am probably unable to stop. Last thing - you all better get ear plugs if Rigg isnt playing this season![]()
I’m not a fanRidiculous how many players Chelsea have and potentially getting more in, wage bill must be astronomical! Maybe a winger we could have from them for a decent fee

Not sure he’s a good finisher tbh. Scorer of great goals but definitely not a clinical centre forward. One thing we learnt about Wilson last season is that he is definitely streaky.Isidor is a lot better than you think. Honestly think he will thrive. The only shot he had in pre season he scored because he’s a good finisher
100% been saying he is a scorer of great goals and not vice versa for a while. I don’t here him as a proper centre forward, more as part of a front 3.Not sure he’s a good finisher tbh. Scorer of great goals but definitely not a clinical centre forward. One thing we learnt about Wilson last season is that he is definitely streaky.
Some people are under estimating how good Bellingham is, and is only going to keep getting better. If he was still here he would be in the starting 11Not too sure about that. He seems to be well set to get in the Dortmund midfield. I would say he would have been a regular for us had he stayed, and we maybe dont sign a Diarra or a Sadiki. Easy to forget how good he is I think, in amongst the excitement of new players.
Of course he would be, had to be regardless of performance. His first season here proved that. Some people are under estimating how good Bellingham is, and is only going to keep getting better. If he was still here he would be in the starting 11
What are load of rubbish, he didn't have to be at all. He would have been in the team because he's a excellent playerOf course he would be, had to be regardless of performance. His first season here proved that.
Sam johnstonAny realistic cheap/short term keepers if the club think we need to get one?
Which proved to be the right decision because he was integral to us being promoted the season after.Of course he would be, had to be regardless of performance. His first season here proved that.
Rui Patricio or Angus Gunn. Both free transfers.Any realistic cheap/short term keepers if the club think we need to get one?
Are you going down the “Speakman picks the team” route? If so get over it. Jobe is a great player, that’s it.Of course he would be, had to be regardless of performance. His first season here proved that.
Absolutely not.Are you going down the “Speakman picks the team” route? If so get over it. Jobe is a great player, that’s it.
I want private jets, mystery cars, unusual social media follows and obscure links to players
Not whether or not Bellingham is as good as Diarra or whether Wilson is better than mayenda
