That would be some signing.

I’ll just add im not ITK and neither is this guy usually but he reckons a name is doing the rounds.
Mmm....the way this window has gone so far...nothing would surprise me!:1980_boogie_down:

None of that hits our 25/26 accounts though. It's all in last season's. Best estimate is that our PSR hit for transfers for the next few years is £30m in the red and counting.
Well as far as I can recall, there were remarks quoted on here from Mr Bruce, who said that we were comfortable in the matter. There is a lot to consider and perhaps not all of it is that accessible.

I think for Patto right now rather than be a back up is a nice move to Southampton

get enlarged wages as parachute team, wages that are gonna be consistent as there’ll be no draw down on relegation as you’re already in the champ

could easily get to 25k a week

over 3 years, class earner, could go back up

I think the same for Neil, get the bag at a relegated side or go abroad where the tempo wil help

I don’t see the value in giving Neil a deal that he feels he deserves when his appearances will be limited

just the way it is, use the wiggle room as a club to then further double down on the market

i wonder if these sales are already priced into their spending or if it would allow more
We are not giving neil what he thinks he deserves. Thats why it is unsigned. As for patto. I think he got a canny upgrade innwages due to promotion. Cannot see anyone paying him 25k a week like

They haven’t seemed particularly ambitious with any moves or to be that keen to invest. Perhaps they’ve lost interest a bit. A last minute deadline day deal with no time to invest would be classic disinterested ownership strategy.
They have pissed about for ages for every deal they have been involved in.

Trafford goes elsewhere
Mbeumo goes elsewhere
Ekitike goes elsewhere
Sesko looks to be going elsewhere
They’re pissing about with Wissa

They just seem so slow to get deals done and look to lowball everyone. They even took the piss with the Elanga deal and took ages to get a fee agreed.

Then they get Ramsdale, who isn’t really a step up on Pope. Bit of a pointless signing if they’re not improving the position.

They shouldn’t be just blaming cartel for ruining their transfers, they should be taking a long hard look at themselves but they won’t because they won a domestic cup for the first time in 70 years or so.

Cretins.
