Andreas Christensen is a player I would make a move for. High quality centre back with PL experience and Barcelona need to get rid of players to register Rashford. He's out of contract at the end of this season so the fee would be less than £10m I reckon.

Keeping it tight at the back is,of course, important, but even Liverpool conceded more than a goal a game last season. Nobody keeps a regular clean sheet against the quality strikers and attacking play in this league,Arsenal were the only team to keep it under a goal a game.Brighton conceded 59 and still finished 8th.
If you concede one,you have to be able to score two. Our ability to score on the counter will demand quality finishing, with a high percentage of the chances we create turned into goals.
Or you have to score 1 and take the draw? Heavy defeats affect confidence. If we can keep things tight we stand half a chance imo

Until the season is well underway you cant say who is going down, or is winning the league.

the curse of the 3 coming up to go back down will surely be broken soon, and if not then there has to be something done about it ( the super league may happen)

perhaps the 3 coming going back down needs looking into the Premier league. It's became a closed shop like the NFL pretty much no relegation, except the Premier League invite 3 outsiders in every year but the have to leave when it's finished. If you want to stay, you have to put your future on the line but spending what you don't have... unless you're Everton, can't have Everton relegated.

Get a team behind Isidor and Mayenda, see how it goes , change it if neccessary. Using the resources we now have could give us a chance , any additions will be belt and braces, personally I think we will defy the odds next season and stay up. I am never wrong <laugh>. OaU
Not convinced they are good enough, but I really do hope I am completely wrong !

We're speculating here,I know, but a draw a game gets you 38 points. Last season that would have kept us up comfortably....Spurs total....but,it hasn't been enough in the past. I suppose it emphasises the gulf that's appearing between the PL and the rest.

Not directly football related, but there seems to be problems with the fake city of NEOM. That might change a few prospective transfers.
People need to do some research on this LINE project. The swathe has been cut but the investors and the money to complete this drying up at an alarming rate. From what I've read it will never be complete much like HS2. Far too ambitious and not practical.
