cant see us getting rid of Patto and Moore in the same winodw,

and will Moore getting the full 90 on Saturday, makes me think that Moore is more likely to stay than patto,

or that is my view.

Moore has never let us down,from what I've seen. I'd be really happy for him to stay with us.

does seem odd that Moore was only one not to get subbed off against Sevilla. normally one keeper only gets the full 90 towards the end of the preseaon games.


and if we are after a new no1 then I think as patto has more of profit about him ( we will get 15m+ for him over moore) he would go over Moore,

the link to Rambo has calmed down, with saints having a friendly Wednesday morning be interesting to see if he is there or not. a couple more clubs are sniffing around him.

They might have decided everyone gets 90 minutes over the two games and that for outfield players that's best served with two seperate 45 minutes and for goalkeepers (who do less running and need to stay focused for 90 mins) its best served as a single 90 minute performance.

I cant see Patto being happy to play 2nd fiddle. Hes at an age now where he needs to be first choice otherwise his career will nose dive abit like Ramsdales has since losing his spot at Arsenal.

I cant see Patto being happy to play 2nd fiddle. Hes at an age now where he needs to be first choice otherwise his career will nose dive abit like Ramsdales has since losing his spot at Arsenal.

Also, he wants to break into the England set up and sadly can only do that if hes a club where he will get more exsposure

Patto was carrying a niggle,probably why Moore played both halves. Btw.....separate!

Cirkin is in Portugal, I was talking to him yesterday. He said that the initial treatment of his wrist wasn’t right, and that he came back a little too early, his wrist is in plaster and he’s not sure how long it will take but he’ll be back.

I only saw the highlights from the weekend and they may have played well (and it’s pre season of course) but Mayender and Abdullahi both missed chances we really need to be ruthless with. I think we have three good strikers who could be outstanding but we need one at a higher level for now.

Think the mayender one just bobbled up before he hit it and I bet the coaches are drumming it into Abdullah to burst the net if he's in that position again

I like Simon Moore but he's had two seasons in the last 12 years where he's been a number 1. One in League One, and one in the Championship. In both subsequent seasons he was replaced by another keeper.

His track record is not great when he's played regularly. He's good enough to be a backup keeper but no more.
