Very very tidy in the ball and comfortable at keeping the tempo

but defensively isn’t great

Would probably be better in our RCM ‘10’ role if he was to come.

Very few meet that criteria. Cresswell is an obvious one but outside of that i'm struggling. Welbeck maybe? Not sure on the attainable aspect though.

I think our best bet for getting British lads into the team is to continue the academy pathway and continue to look at academy players at top end clubs as long term signings.

I see very few options for the short term.

List of English players who played 1000+ minutes in the PL last season. How many of them are viable options? I'm struggling to see many.
 
If Mundle is long term injured I can definitely see that left footed right winger being back on the menu. Perhaps as a loan player seeing we’ve spent our budget on an unexpected Mundle replacement.

only thing I can imagine, spit balling here, but perhaps Sassuolo had already told us they’d sell at 20m euro. We then went away and signed Adingra instead.

then Mundle gets injured and we decide not to **** about and immediately go to sassuolo with the agreed price. Hence Fab saying “no add ons” etc. sounds like a fairly quick deal to do in terms of “20m straight”

i think the only one who has a massive question mark over right now who will stay is neil out of the main core

Agree on all counts. We need to give some thought to pathway even in our prem incarnation - and probably need to do something about stacking the pipeline too.
