Saudi's will pay them what they want if Super League or rest of pyramid won't. Footballers have become accustomed to obscene wages now. Then footballers would have to take a more sensible wage wouldn’t they? Instead of demanding 300 grand a week?

Isn’t the Championship up there with the most watched? It is to the rest of the world. It's the most watched league in history. This is the product that they want.
Doubt we sign a RB, got Hume and Huggins then Sadiki who can play there as coverSo

reads like Patto is our no 1
Exactly marraIt certainly won’t bother me, sooner they’ve gone the better. Let’s see who comes crawling back after a few years.
Do you think their fans want it, I don’t.
Or maybe the club are aware of how all the speculation may affect his confidence so are giving him some 'air time', keep him in the loop etc until they find his replacement. I like Patto I really do, but I think he will be found out big time in the premier league.I think it's good, in a way. The club wants a better keeper than Patterson, identified two high quality potential replacements which they couldn't get. But rather than working down a list of keepers who might not be available/out of reach and settling for a slight upgrade, their prepared to work with him to improve unless a really good fit appears. If it takes a bit of time, so be it. Sensible, if you ask me.
I would rather we did tbh, Sadiki shouldnt ever have to play there for us and it means hedging our bets not only on huggins staying fit but also stepping up to premier league level and physicality.Doubt we sign a RB, got Hume and Huggins then Sadiki who can play there as cover
There' no way this is happening surely? Why would he go there? Honestly, can't see it.
Cracking read that. I didnt realise he has worked with Eric Steele. I have had the pleasure of seeing Steele work a lot and he is something to behold. The way he engages players is brilliant. You must log in or register to see media

What I find exciting is how much coaches can improve players. Cutler might well see Patto as a lad to shine. He is until we get someone better and a nice confidence boost for the lad
Of course he wouldnt because Patto isnt ****e...Well cutler isn’t going to say I can’t wait til we sign a new keeper patto is ****e
If patto can play like he did in the playoff final he can def make the step upWhat I find exciting is how much coaches can improve players. Cutler might well see Patto as a lad to shine.
Not aiming this at you, but far too easy for fans to say just sign this player or that player and take a short term view. Coaches, thankfully, divorce themselves from that and really pride themselves on making players better. I trust Cutler to get the best out of Patto and not a single poster on here knows what the best looks like.
Every chance Cutler spends a couple of weeks with Patto and thinks he has what it takes. Cutler would know better than any of us. So many cases of keepers exploding in development terms as they hit their mid 20s. Lets see.Yes I get that I just think it seems like we are trying to big him up and with the lack of new links and talk of us making a U-Turn from Nixon I think it was. I wouldn’t be shocked to see us sign a backup maybe
How many ya got likeWe’re due an update from that journo this afternoon aren’t we?
Cocks out at the ready
