Whilst I agree with the sentiment of the "big 6" ****ing off to a super league, the "premier league" and all of the rest of pyramid would collapse as Sky TV money is inflating wages and transfer fees and SKY would drop the remaining leagues like a stone for the all new super league. Indeed the Premier League started only because the "big 6" wanted a bigger slice of broadcasting rights in the first place. If FIFA/UEFA wanted to stop it all they could but they are as greedy as the greedy clubs that want a super league themselves. Football will eat itself in the end.

he’s had a good but injury interrupted season, high ceiling, good defensive contribution as well as goals. 2 years left on his contract but seems to want away. I reckon 15 mil sound about right. somewhere in the 10-20 mil range. Wouldn’t mind it being structured in a way that we get a healthy percentage of the next sale.

Swap deals are the stuff of video games, but a defender from Monaco could be really useful. can’t think of who our last swap deal would have been? Lee Clarke and Paul bracewell?
Defoe for jozy

I am with you mate. It was 2 minutes ago we were all in love with a group that literally gave everthing the possibly could and took the motto to the end literally. That was based on being a team. Sometimes it is easy to forget you need lads to build a team ethic before anything else.

I have faith in Regis though. I genuinely think it was he who brought that ethic and team bond out of everyone. He made huge efforts in everything to be about togetherness and connections. I think he will be doing that right now with the new lads. They are mostly young lads as well and I think they will naturally look for connections in the group. And I would bet my pocket money lads like ONien and Isidor are making the camp a lively one. And I also bet lads like Neil and Hume are making sure they have the right standards in training.

Yep.

To me, the worst thing would be to either try and replace everyone, or let that young team, many of whom came up from League One, fend for themselves without any serious help

I don't think we'll do any of the two. We needed more good players and we've got some. Maybe a couple more to come even. No promoted club can hope to survive without such help. Most of that young team will get their chance if they want it, and IMO, they will be needed.

It's the fees and so on that are so startling to us as we've not seen them before. We can get carried away easily by all the noise. We can afford to. But I don't think those running the show will.

KLD has asked them to make it dramatic as possible. Helicopter landing at half time with Juan picking him up and taking him to the jet. The jet is then taking off with red and white stripes like the red arras. All caught on camera by fullwell 73.

Sky might, but another broadcaster would pick it up as its guaranteed viewers of all the other clubs left behind.

Not everyone wants to watch Arsenal v Real Madrid live from the far east.

The money from tv would drop so players would have to chose lower wages to play or go to a super league club never to play or abroad where wages would be even lower.
