I reckon we've played a game of chicken with them over the fee. Was sure they were saying 25m previously so 20m is a comedown from them.

Not really following this thread over the last few weeks but I'm increasingly confused about our squad building (can only assume our overall budget is ****ing massive!). Only fair to judge the finished product on 1st September though.

I think more and more that Talbi has been signed initially, at least, to predominantly be a right wing option for us. Re-read Speakman's quotes from when he signed and it has only reaffirmed that for me.

Also, the Romano tweet about Mundle's contract was a little strange for me, maybe a little spin and playing the game from the club there. Laid the foundations of 'well, we wanted to keep him...' if he's sold.

Talbi is definitely mainly a right winger for me. played most his games there. been playing there in training. given number 7 (I know thats not important )

Yeah indeed. We don't need any more attackers IMO. I'd question if this signing means we don't need any more midfielders tbh. Our projected squad as of right now is ****ing massive.

Anyways I think a left footed RW/ST on loan finishes off our attack fully, dont need to care about giving the minutes and can just provide cover.
