Don’t think this one makes a great deal of sense unless Mundle has told us he wants away

He can play all across the front 3 can’t he?
He can aye, maybe he’s someone to provide competition to all 3 attacking areas. If he’s seen as potential 3rd striker material then it kills off any speculation about that Georgian lad at Lyon - although I never thought that was realistic.

Isidor - ST / LW
Mayenda - ST / Wing
Abdullahi - ST
Lauriente - Wing / ST

Only one of the 4 is rigid in terms of where they can line up on the pitch. A lot of versatility there.

Things are accelerating for Armand Laurienté at Sunderland. The 26-year-old French striker, who has been instrumental in Sassuolo's return to Serie A and scored 19 goals and provided six assists, and was voted the league's best player last season , is close to a move to the Premier League.

- Keep referring to him as a striker

This video shows that Lauriente does get in some good forward positions so I can see him being a second forward in our system counter attacking.

It also shows how shockingly poor the goalkeeping is in Serie B. This is just clanger after clanger. Are we sure Lauriente is any good versus played against under 8 keepers? :D

Club may think both Adingra and Talbi are better from the right?
I've seen Adingra on the right a few times and he's really poor there so hoping he isn't going to be used there

I vould see talbi focusing on the right to begin with

It could be mundle is off or they just think this lad could cover all 3 positions

Plot twist: the keepers are world class but just **** themselves when Lauriente advances towards them. <laugh>
