That wage has got to be bullshit? Got to be?
I mean ****ing hell?
Anyone else feel like there is maybe something dodgy going on over there. I don't just mean the sports washing and trying to buy football, but are all the players getting the wage they are signing on for? Meant to be tax free but does it work out that way? Is there hoops for them to jump through? Wasn't it said Henderson got hardly any of the wage he was promised because he decided to leave early?
But €1 billion a year for 5 years is ridiculous!
Probably penalty clauses that are prohibitively expensive if you leave early like Henderson but we’d already know if players weren’t getting paid or had secret taxes.
I thought the Saudis were trying to buy football but it seems they are actually trying to destroy it.
I absolutely love the ambition of our owners and we're doing what we need to do just to have a fighting chance, but football is absolutely ****ed.
Those who think Saudi, Fifa Club World Cups and potential Super Leagues are threatening to ruin footy, seem to have completely missed that the Premier League already ****ed everyone else.

I agree. I do find it a bit uncomfortable the money we are spending just to finish 17th In premier league. It's obscene isn't it. Liverpool spending 113m on a player and possibly same again on another. It's mental
So far we’ve spent the equivalent of about 7.5 Didier Ndongs. Wrestle with that for a bit.
Yet the mags whinge about PSR. If their owners were allowed to do this **** the whole league would be totally ruined.

Diarra for me, there’s a reason he was worth so much, they must think he can turn into a 100 million pound player.
Think Reinaldo could be such an important player, and not just on the pitch.
