Bournemouth lots of money to spend.
Be tough going against established side for players I expect, unless the player has some bollocks and wants to join a proper club <laugh>

I'd be all over Kyle Walker Peters like, particularly if Cirkin isn't signing a new deal. KWP can play both at both full backs and would give strong competition to Hume and Reinildo

I don’t think he’s needed IF Huggins can remain fit…

I could see us spending 50 to 60 sterling on two CBs. It’s possible we get both
Exactly, i almost think its what the club are aiming to do based on the links.

Maybe, think he wants upwards of 100k a week and to not be in a relegation battle - probably just goes west ham since hes a london lad.

Got a gut feeling we're gonna keep the likes of Alan Browne around for AFCON and then ship him out in January once the lads are back.

tbf to Huggins, his injuries were freak injuries

I'd love him to stay fit as I think he's got a lot of quality, he's just played so little for us, and most of his games came in League One/Championship.

We don't even know if he's good enough for the Premier League before we take into account his injury problems.

If the worst should happen and Hume broke his leg or something, then we'd be relying on Huggins...and it's a big gamble.

The club internally rate him very very highly, he was arguably better than Hume when he was having that run in the side

Whisper it quietly but I like Keith Downie. The guy has a thankless task reporting on passionate north east clubs, neither of whom react too kindly to bad news.

He didn't report on us because Sky only care about the premier league, not really his fault.

I'm much more annoyed at the outlets that still aren't really reporting on us despite being a premier league club now. The Athletic for example are just following others and reporting stuff that's already been reported, then not writing any sort of story or comment on it. Theyve just become an aggregator for Sunderland, whereas other clubs get stories and opinion pieces.
your right,
he didn't comment on us before this season as you say because of Sky. Why then did he report on both the Mags and Boro these last couple of season then?
