I’ve just read the article and it seems that it’s Bailey putting the info out there about other clubs

Which is good, because Bailey is all over the place.
I do however think this could be another case of our interest in a player being leaked early to provoke interest from elsewhere.

The Xhaka link has gone on too long for us, albeit only 2 days. Our recent history is a rumour 1 hour before and then deal done.

It always does to me when we're reported to have "enquired" or "have interest in".
It seems pretty certain its true that we want him. But the fact it got leaked to Sacha always felt like it was to get more interest be it from Saudi or elsewhere.
